About the Work

Ingredients

These are coreless incense sticks, where the fragrance itself is kneaded without using a bamboo core.
We have blended Mysore sandalwood from India, agarwood, ambergris, and kyara (aloeswood), along with the sweet and rich aroma of jujube from Qingzhou, natural medicinal herbs from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and mint, creating a deep and tranquil lingering scent.
Ingredients may change depending on the manufacturing period. Please check the product label for the latest information.

機能 The essence of fragrance, inherited: Nature and craftsmanship

Court Incense: Closely Guarded Secret

LuAnn Stone's incense comes from the traditional court incense recipes passed down through generations of Sunshi Incense, combined with expert handcraftsmanship.

Its origins date back over 450 years to the Ming Dynasty's Wanli era. The incense-making techniques—from discerning precious woods and blending natural ingredients to refining the lingering afterglow once lit—still quietly breathe life into every stick of incense today.

No artificial fragrances

The truly high-quality scent of natural incense cannot be replicated by modern synthetic fragrances.

The profound depth of fragrant wood, the tranquility of the moment a flame is lit, and the lingering afterglow once it fades. Based on incense recipes passed down for 450 years, we cherish the inherent beauty of natural fragrances.

Artisan craftsmanship

The incense-making techniques, passed down for 450 years, are meticulously applied to each stick by the hands of artisans. The selection, blending, and kneading of the ingredients all involve the delicate sensibility unique to handmade crafts and a quiet dedication to the art of fragrance.
